A California native, Dr. Nijjar grew up in San Jose and attended the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA - Go Bruins!), where she earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry. She then pursued her dental education at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in Boston, Massachusetts, earning her Doctor of Dental Medicine degree.

Following dental school, Dr. Nijjar completed an intensive Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) residency through Lutheran Medical Center in Flagstaff, Arizona. This additional year of advanced training provided extensive experience in comprehensive treatment planning, cosmetic dentistry, restorative dentistry, dental implants, oral surgery, emergency dental care, and the management of complex dental cases.

After completing her residency, Dr. Nijjar returned to California and has proudly served patients in Stockton, Tracy, and throughout the Bay Area. Her experience treating patients of all ages and dental backgrounds has allowed her to develop a comprehensive approach focused on prevention, education, long-term oral health, and beautiful smile outcomes.

As a firm believer in continuing education, Dr. Nijjar regularly completes advanced training courses throughout the year to stay current with the latest techniques, technology, and evidence-based dental treatments. Dr. Nijjar is an active member of the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, and local professional study clubs where she collaborates with fellow dental professionals to continually refine her skills and deliver the highest standard of care.

Outside the office, Dr. Nijjar enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, as well as her extended family who live nearby.
